During this ritual, certain monks engage in playing traditional Tibetan musical instruments, while others adorned in elaborate attire execute dances with evocative titles such as:

Dancers typically wear wooden masks depicting animals, fierce deities, and various forms of Guru Rinpoche. However, for the locals, these masks hold deeper significance beyond mere aesthetics. They symbolize a break from the monotony of daily life, offering solace from struggles and transgressions. Through the performance of these dances, invoking the deities of Tantric teachings, the community seeks the blessings necessary to dispel misfortune and restore peace and joy.

During the festival, clowns called atsaras entertain the crowd with funny actions and exaggerated movements. They wear red masks with big noses, cheeky smiles, and noticeable phallic symbols, bringing energy and excitement to the event.
