Chorten Kora Festival

The Chhorten Kora festival takes place in Trashiyangtse, Bhutan's easternmost district. Located just a two-hour drive from Trashigang, Chorten Kora resembles the Boudhanath stupa in Nepal.

Every February/March, locals and Dakpa people from Arunachal Pradesh, India, gather here for a festival dedicated to circumambulating the chorten.
